Meet MKG
I tend to be very random, but I also seem quiet, but I am really not. In fact, I like to embarrass Logan in public with how loud I can be. I love meeting new people. Seriously, I don’t like coffee but, I would love to go grab a cup of tea somewhere with you sometime!
I secretly want to be Temperance Brennan from Bones. I love anything that has to do with DIY or home décor. I am a big stressor. I doubt myself, a lot. Sometimes I don’t feel good enough. I know I have failed God. But, I own my mistakes and work for a better tomorrow.
I love being by the pool. Too much. I have my whole life saved and planned on Pinterest. Nights with my husband home is like Christmas. Cats are weird, but they totally get me. I love kids. If it were up to me I would have 5 or 6.
I wish I knew more about the Bible. I strive to gain knowledge. It is this longing to learn more that pushes me to keep pursuing Jesus each and every day. My passion is in sharing my story and my love for the Lord. I want to live out the plan Christ has written for me. And, to me, that is happiness. That is what makes me successful. And that is what will get me far in life- Jesus.
I believe in what faith can do. I believe in cultivating positive relationships, taking chances, and learning from the times. I believe in being bold & being YOU. There is not better version of you- don’t let the world tell you any differently.
I told you I love kids, so much so that I teach preschool at a church here in North Carolina. It is the most filling and rewarding job I could ever have. I get to work with 30 some of my best friends every day- it is the best! On top of teaching preschool, I am a full time student, working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications.

Hello Lovelies,
I’m Madi Gold- the voice and creative mind behind Lines of Faith. I’m known for my messy buns, my love for big peanut butter spoons, and my weird obsession with notebooks. I am a dreamer, a doer, a go-getter, and of course a firm believer in Jesus & all that He is capable of.
I am an Indiana girl at heart, but I am loving living this coastal North Carolina life! I mean, who could complain about being close to a beach? And, this sunshine!
I love a good quote, denim, polka-dotted anything, flannels & fall, baking what could quite possibly be the best chocolate chip cookies ever (seriously, get a hold of me for this recipe), and living in sweatpants.
I laugh at inappropriate times because I just can’t help that. I love to dance, especially in public. I think that going to the grocery store is the best thing ever & my husband likes to make fun of me for it. I like sleeping in XL t-shirts. Movie nights are the best. I can’t pick a favorite movie. But, if I had to, I would say Finding Nemo or Tarzan. Or 13 Going On Thirty. See, I can’t make up my mind.

I am a scatter-brained, OCD wife to the most patient, loving and handsome man I have ever laid eyes on. Seriously- I don’t deserve Him, but I thank God every day that I have Him. He is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps, hoping to one day be a computer nerd. Together we have started a life out here in North Carolina, building a zoo. And by building a zoo I mean growing our little, but big fur-family. We have two dogs and three cats. We are proud parents to our lovable boxer named Sully, our sweet German Shepherd/Black Lab Mix named Nova. And three adorable rescue cats, two from a shelter and one from the wild, Theo, Leo & Rio (who goes by Kitten). We get it- we are crazy. We have been called that once or twice, but we absolutely love it and wouldn’t change a single thing about it.
We long to enjoy the adventures in life, this being one right now- the adventures of a marriage and all that comes with it. Logan is my best friend, my partner in crime, my go-to, my guy, my forever. He’s got a big heart for me but an even bigger heart for Jesus. He pushes me daily to be a better person. He lights up any room and has lit up my life entirely. I genuinely love doing life with Him and seeing just how the Lord shapes us together.

Besides tending to our zoo, we do have many hobbies we enjoy doing together. We are huge music people. We love singing and finding new music to enjoy together. Our typical Friday night date consists of dinner at Chuy’s, a trip to our local pet store, and then a quick browse at Burlington’s (because you never know what you can find there). We love cups- especially mugs, and we have acquired a lot of them since we have been married. We love going to Wilmington specifically for Kilwin’s ice cream and a beautiful walk beside the river. We are actually attempting to vlog about our life together, very crazy but so fun. We are both very awkward people with personalities that click.
I am blessed to have one of life’s best support teams- my family, friends, those who contribute and follow Lines of Faith, and of course, Jesus! I couldn’t do what I do through Lines of Faith without this team. I wake up every day feeling filled by the people He has placed in my life. I am thankful for my parents who taught me to believe in my dreams and have given their all for me to have my all. I am thankful for my friends who have loved me through some of the biggest life changes and have stayed by my side through it all. I am thankful for the family that sees the best in me and continues to love on me on my hardest days. And most of all I am thankful for a BIG God that makes ALL THINGS POSSIBLE. I am thankful for the gift of writing He has given me and the words He has instilled within my heart. He is good. & I will spend the rest of my life believing in His goodness, allowing Him to use all of who He has created me to be.
