Lines of Faith: THE MISSION

Lines of Faith is a ministry that hopes to inspire women to fill up their lines of life, faithfully with…
Truth: We are called to love and obey the truthfulness of the Lord.
“Jesus said to the people who believed in Him, ‘you are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” – John 8:31-32
Love: We are called to love the Lord and one another.

“The man answered, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, all you mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.” – Luke 10:27
Growth: We are called to increase and build up our own faith through prayer and study.
“But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you enteral life.” –Jude 1:20
Worship: We are called to constantly connect with the Lord through worship and prayer.
“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Action: We are called to serve and do good works for the Lord.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us.” – Ephesians 2:10
Teaching: We are called to take the gospel to every person living without it.
“And then He told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.’” – Mark 16:15
Response: We are called to recognize and respond to our own sins by confessing and asking for forgiveness.
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight.” – Romans 3:23-24
Lines of Faith hopes to encourage them to live out these lines, daily.
Lines of Faith: THE STORY

Lines of Faith, a place that has definitely become my outlet. A place to boldly be all that God has created me to be and share all of the details with you.
Before it came to be, Lines of Faith was technically the lines within one of my notebooks, which of course was my inspiration behind it all. I had been filling the Lines of my notebook with my journey of faith. A journey that is ever-changing and exciting, one that I saw being worth sharing.
God pressed into me years ago the words “fill up, faithfully” during a time when I was doing the opposite- filling up selfishly and aimlessly. Through those words, God challenged mem and accepting that challenge has completely put me outside of my comfort zone. The Lord pushed me in a direction that I would have never imagined going in, but from the moment I took just one step His way, my life has been totally transformed. I see now that with God, there is no such thing as a comfort zone. Anything and everything that God specifically calls us to and prepares us for is not going to be the slightest bit easy, but I can tell you one thing, it is beyond worth it.
Lines of Faith was that breakage of my comfort zone. He called, I answered, hesitantly, because what impact can come from a girl and her blog? But, once again I was proven wrong, because so much influence has come from the short amount of time that Lines of Faith has been a part of me. But, this influence I am talking about doesn’t have anything to do with the impact made onto people who read my words, but everything to do with how God has influenced me through them.
Through this journey, God has taught me how to accept all that I am. He has shown me what it means to live a bold life, fighting the good fight of faith. He set me on a clear path, and has directed each step. He reminded me that I am enough, and I am capable of what I set my mind to. He has surrounded me with people that have shaped and touched me in ways I cannot even begin to explain- and the great thing is, is that THIS is only the beginning of this journey.
There was an instant transformation in my journey when I allowed those words. “fill up, faithfully” to move in my heart. The moment we fill up our hearts with the Lord, we overflow. We start to share that simple phrase or idea that God has put within us because we want to make a difference within other’s lives like it did to our own.
“Fill up faithfully, Madi!”, my heart was finally ready to let those words overflow, to make a difference, to speak to someone else’s heart just as they did to mine. And overflowing meant getting out of that comfortable state. Overflowing meant sharing things that I would normally keep hidden inside of me. Overflowing meant “Madi, it is time to write and it is time to write for the Lord. Fill up your life with faith and overflow onto others so that they may be able to do the same”. Overflowing brought me the words to fill up faithfully with, and with those words came Lines of Faith.
The words throughout Lines of Faith are here to encourage us all to fill up our lives, faithfully. It is here as a reminder of how full we are when we fill up with Christ and how much we can accomplish when we choose to overflow our faith.
I like to think of “filling up, faithfully” as filling up a notebook. Our lives are our own personal notebooks. Every day that we wake up is a new and blank page, waiting for us to begin to fill it. How we fill it is important, though. I used to fill up every day for me. I would fill my pages with my own decisions and write with my own pen. But, I have learned that it is not about filling it for me, it is about filling it for God.
It is about making the choices He would want us to make. Its praying and trusting His plan, not your own. That is the problem. We as Christians forget to trust, we forget who we are dealing with! We forget who loves us unconditionally and promises nothing but the best for us. We forget who knows the outcome for our lives. He knows every detail. Our Creator! Our Savior! He is the one that we should fill up on. Not some Netflix series, not the latest celebrity gossip, not the number of likes you got on an Instagram post, not the world, but, God! He is who we should fill up on. He is who we should wake up for and fill up our pages with. Every choice, every word, every breath should be for Him. We should spend our days doing the good works of the kingdom, building our faith, sharing our faith, living out our faith! Filling our notebooks, faithfully.
Like you, I am still filling up my notebook of faith, still continuing on this long journey! I strive to grow my faith and encourage others do so as well. I want to grow into the light He wants me to be in this dark world, and in order to shine, I have to turn on my light switch.
I am a twenty-two-year-old girl with a dream, a vision, and a passion driven by Christ. I have discovered my passion of sharing His word through my own words. God introduced me to writing and it has become a huge part of my life. What started out as a small hobby has now grown into so much more; it is now something I want to take on and take further for myself and for the Lord. I want to expand the ways I can use my writing towards the works of His kingdom. I want to write to make a difference in the lives of others just as God has made a difference in mine. I want to write to share what Christ has written in me. I plan on letting my faith guide my writing in whichever direction it needs to go. Only the Lord knows its final destination, so for now I will just write in the midst of the journey.
This is only the beginning of my journey with words. I know the road before me is still long and winding, but I know that every step I take along this path is another step closer to the One I am on this journey with.
The words of Lines of Faith are my journey shared to all of you. I will fill up my pages with what I have learned from walking with my own faith and I hope that from my journey you are all able to grow and walk with me. I pray that the words support you and encourage you along your own walk and provides you with the Lord’s wisdom and guidance, motivation and strength. Let my journey be a reminder to you that you are not walking alone. Let Lines of Faith walk WITH you, side by side, so that we may be filling up faithfully, together.
Luke 1:37 says that “Faith does not make things easy, but it makes things possible.” Faith is the determining factor in our lives. It is what makes the impossible become possible. Imagine you had a balanced scale: impossible on one side, and possible on the other. Add a weight, and what happens? One side rises over the other. Faith is the weight. It pushes the impossible down, and forces the possible to rise. That is what faith does in our lives. Faith allows the impossible to become possible. Choose to add faith into your life! Choose to allow God to make things possible!
