Transformation

Dictionary.com defines transformation as being a change in form, appearance, nature or character.
It’s becoming someone new.
It’s out with the old, and in with the new.
Like getting a new, drastic haircut and hearing people’s respond with “Wow you look like a whole new person!”
Transformation has that type of affect.
It occurs when we let go of who we are, to become who we need to be.
And, when you become someone far from who you used to be, it is noticed.
And typically, this type of transformation- becoming far from who you once were- screams Jesus.
But, then I am hit with a sad reality because people aren’t giving Jesus the credit for transformation at all.
Actually let me rephrase that, because people aren’t even letting Jesus close enough to their lives for a transformation to even occur.
Instead, they draw close to the world.
And in return, the world draws even closer to their heart.
Then, their heart is transformed.
But, instead of them becoming who they need to be, they become even further from it.
You see, there is such a blindness to the way the world is able to transform us.
And I wouldn’t even call it transformation anymore.
At this point, it is corruption.
A lot of people don’t like that word, but it is the only word that I feel holds the most truth.
The world is lacking the truth and the light that comes along with knowing Jesus.
So what happens when you conform to the world? You walk with the ways of the world, which only means living with no truth or light.
And the world allows you to believe that this is okay.
It’s okay to walk in sin.
It’s okay to go to church on Sunday, but conform to your surroundings on Monday.
It’s okay to not need Jesus.
Corruption screams “it’s okay”.
Transformation screams Jesus.
Do you see the difference?
Do you see how easily the world can suffocate us?
Do you see how easily it is to lose Jesus over finding Him?
And that word, find, is what I base my definition of transformation on.
Transformation is finding Jesus.
Transformation is choosing Jesus.
Transformation is living it out in a way that makes people respond with “Wow, you ARE a new person!”
And, most importantly, transformation is giving Him the credit.
This transformation occurs when you seek Him in all that you do.
This transformation works within you when you allow Christ to work in you.
It’s choosing Him over the world.
Jesus has to become all or nothing in your life.
He can’t be a one day- Sunday type deal.
He’s all-day everyday.
And transformation will spark that moment where Jesus becomes so much more in your life.
Let Jesus transform you.
Let Jesus become the way.
Let Jesus set you apart.
Let Jesus give you a reason to live.
Because there is a difference between life and living.
Choosing Jesus is living.
And life is choosing to live without Him.
We are lifeless without the living breath of Jesus.
Jesus is transformational.
You will be completely transformed the moment you decide to choose living over life.
So why walk through life without living?
Why take another lifeless step?
Transformation; the moment where you choose living over just life.
LIVE for Jesus.
Be TRANSFORMED in Jesus’s name!
And, then walk a new life, with living steps, as someone who has been transformed.
And that is what today is all about.
That is what this re-launch is all about.
Lines of Faith has undergone a transformation.
Lines of Faith has been made new.
Lines of Faith has sought out the Lord and found a newness in Him that I hope will spread onto those who are exposed.
Lines of Faith is ready to share this new journey with all of you.
Undergoing this transformation, I have learned a thing or two about what this new transformational journey will consist of.
This transformation doesn’t mean different; it just means new.
New topics, new lessions, new inspiration, and new steps to be taken.
This transformation means consistency.
Meeting with God consistently, studying His word consistently.
Basically, having a consistent relationship with God, which in return will allow for consistency in my posting and blog updates.
This transformation means repentance.
Giving everything to God and moving forwards.
Instead of dwelling on my mistakes or things I did not follow through on, I am going to take a step forwards.
I am going to use my past, and what I have learned to better my future and prepare me for my tomorrows.
This transformation means transparency.
Being open to see things from God’s perspective, which means looking at the inside rather than what’s on the outside.
I want to allow others to see the truth of who I am on the inside rather than trying to display what is on the outside.
Though the outside is what is visible, there is an inside that holds the most meaning.
I want Lines Of Faith to be raw and real, no holding back. I want the light to be seen from the other side.
There is no one to impress, just God to reflect!
This transformation means willingness!
It means being ready to move when God calls me to me.
And, God has called me to move.
God has called me to get back onto my laptop and share with you the words that He has placed onto my heart.
This transformation has been a total renewal for me.
As I move onto the next steps of my journey of filling up faithfully, I see a new desire to know the Lord begin to form.
Through is desire, I am reminded to allow more room for transformation, and less room for corruptions.
Romans 12:2 reads…
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”
My mind has been renewed.
My mind has been completely stripped of any previous negative thoughts or hindrances.
My mind has been transformed and is ready to take on the rest of my journey.
I am breaking loose from the world and clinging closer to God!
I have been given a new understanding of who I was and who Christ wants me to be and I am ready to use it for the workds of His kingdom.
My faith has been transformed.
And, a transformational faith is to be used as an example.
Being transformed is transformational.
People see it in you and choose to do the same thing, which causes a domino effect.
Through transformation, you can transform and bring others to do the same.
Before we know it there will be less corruption and more transformation going on in this world.
That is… if we allow ourselves to be transformed.
So, let me challenge you to open yourselves up to Jesus and close yourselves up to the world.
Rid yourselves from any opportunities to be corrupted and consumed by the world, and find ways to become full of the Lord.
Choose transformation and give life to your walk of faith.
Be open to consistency, repentance, willingness, and transparency!
Let your mind be renewed rather than consumed.
There is true transformational power in His name.
Believe it.
Jeremiah 29:13 says:
“Seek me and you shall find me with your whole heart.”
It is in your heart where a transformation takes place, and a transformation can only take place if you are seeking Him!
Seek Him and find that transformational faith!
Let him transform your life!
Guys, I am so excited to be back at my desk chair writing.
I have missed these moments spent writing about my journey.
I have missed bringing the words God has placed in my heart to life.
But, I realized that it would not even be possible to do without allowing Jesus to transform me.
He has transformed my heart through Lines Of Faith.
He has transformed my writing in more ways than I can even express.
In the ways He has inspired me and spoken to me, I see this transformation because a few years ago, I would have ignored it all.
I wouldn’t have written
I wouldn’t have listen.
I would have chosen the world instead.
I would have been corrupted.
Thank you God for transforming my heart and working in my life.
Thank you for saving me from corruption.
And, thank you for continuously transforming me into who you are calling me to be.
Today is the beginning of this transformation within me and Lines of Faith and I cannot wait to see where it continues to lead me.
I am ready to continue to fill up faithfully, together, as well as, grow and transform in our faith!
Speaking of Transformation…. Lines of Faith has gone through a physical transformation as well!
Thank you all for being so patient with me as I took the time to update and recreate different aspects of Lines of Faith.
As many of you know, my dad really helped me put together Lines of Faith, but with living in different states it became really hard to continuously work together to keep it all updated. I had to make the choice to completely redo my entire website on my own.
Over the last three weeks I have taken the time to re-design Lines of Faith completely and modernize it in a way that is easier for me as well as you to keep up with!
Let me share some of this newness with you!
There is now a study page that is up and running, where I am able to post new and completed studies. I will keep you updated on things being added to this page through email, which leads me to my next thing…
I am now able to send out email/news updates with just a click of a button. This is HUGE for me, because with the previous site this was very challenging. So if you haven’t already, please SUBSCRIBE in order to stay updated by email!
You can click this link to do so: http://www.linesoffaith.com/subscribe
There is now a prayer request page (http://www.linesoffaith.com/prayer-requests).This is another HUGE thing for me, because I firmly believe in the power of prayer and how crucial it is to our walk of faith. Prayer is a way for us walk on this journey together. I tried so hard to include this on the last site, but finding a way to continuously keep up with it was again hard. But I have now found a way to make prayer requests a part of Lines of Faith and hope to see the use of it grow.
Today’s Line now has its own page as well!
Be sure to check this area out for a daily dose of Jesus!
All of this can be found under the MORE tab in the menu bar.
Again, thank you all so much for your continuous support and love through this entire journey. Lines of Faith would not even be possible if it weren’t for you guys.
Lines of Faith is ready to begin sharing this journey with you & I hope that you will share your journey with me, too. I love to hear about how your faith is walking and moving within the world- so please send your stories my way.
Or, if you don’t have anything to share, please just say hello! It is a way for me to stay connected with you all.
You can contact me through the form on the contact page or just simply shoot me an email to madi@linesoffaith.com
As I wrap up this post for tonight, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and love.
God has been so good to me along this journey & I owe its entirety to Him!
I hope you all have had a blessed Sunday!
Talk to you soon
