Rejoicing in Jesus

"Though you have not seen Him, you love him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls." - 1 Peter 1:8-9 It's Thursday & my heart is REJOICING over Jesus! Life has given me many reasons to choose sadness over gladness, but today I am choosing to be joyful! To me, having FAITH is scary, but so REWARDING! It's hard to trust the unseen. But, He makes His presence known through this inexpressible joy He lays onto our hearts. And, this is enough for me. I may not see Him, but I KNOW Him intimately through His word. And, I fall in love more and more with Him through the words on the page- this brings me that inexpressible joy! Today, let's allow our hearts to grasp onto this joy. Let's remove strongholds from our minds, draining us from this joy. LET GO of whatever consumes you. BE JOYFUL in your current whereabouts. If you are facing trials, "consider it pure joy, because you know that this is the testing of your faith, which produces perseverance." (James 1:2-3) Let your faith be tested, for you will become stronger in the end. TRUST the unknown & find HIS joy in the midst of every moment of trial. He is our VICTORY! He "is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." (Deuteronomy 20:4) He knows what stands against us- find joy in this! Be joyful & glad knowing that "if our God is FOR us, who can stand against us?" (Romans 8:31) No one, no thing, no circumstance, no trial can ever stand against us. What we allow will continue. Let's not ALLOW the current situations in our lives to take away our JOY. The enemy is sent to steal, kill and destroy our joy- tell him NO today. Stand victoriously on your JOY! No one can stop you!
