Paul's Prayer For Spiritual Growth

This morning I read Paul’s prayer for Spiritual Growth found in Ephesians 3 verses 14-19. There, he places an important reminder for us all to USE the glorious & unlimited resources He provides us with to not only allow us to KNOW Him more, but to be empowered for more. We find a special strength through His resources - prayer, His word, spiritual advisors, church, worship etc. that help us become more rooted into all that God is. Notice, when we take time to participate in spiritual practices, our spiritual strength grows as well. When we see growth, we feel His love and abundance more deeply than before. When we are deeply rooted in Him, we are not only on more sturdy ground, but we have the power to understand the depths of who He is. We begin to experience His love for us and open our hearts up for Him to create a home within us. Let’s choose to surrender fully to Him and use the resources He Has so graciously given us to that we may know Him in different ways. Let’s choose spiritual growth rather than spiritual doubt. Let’s allow ourselves to be rooted in His truth so that can be filled up and equipped for more. When we grow spiritually, we are holding our spiritual armor, our protection, from what the enemy plans for us. We must choose to protect our hearts and stand firm against the enemy. Without spiritual practice we fall into those traps. Through Christ, we stay STRONG. Let’s choose to be spiritually strengthened today. Take time to PRAY Paul’s prayer. Open your Bible & fill up with wisdom you may need. Let’s watch as we get to know Him more as we pray and dive into all the glorious truths He has given us for our day, and everyday!
